Sheila Goldberg

Sheila Goldberg has lived in Sudbury with her family since 1970. She is a member of Congregation Beth El where she served as Director of Education from 1986 to 1999. After leaving that position Sheila did consulting with congregations on Jewish Education and teacher training. She co-founded the STOP Program with Susan Murphy and Rev. Avis Hoyt-O’Conner in 1991. In addition to STOP Sheila also serves on the Steering Committee for Daughters of Abraham, an Interfaith Book Group organization.

Susan Murphy

Susan Murphy was the Director of Religious Education from 1986 to 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima, a Roman Catholic parish in Sudbury. She has lived with her family in Sudbury since 1985.  Since retiring, Susan consults with other Catholic parishes on safety presentations for children, volunteers with the Bridges Intergenerational Program in the public schools, and serves on the Parish Council for Our Lady of Fatima. She co-founded the S.T.O.P. Program with Sheila Goldberg and Rev. Avis Hoyt-O’Connor in 1991.  Susan is also active in the Interfaith Book Group, Daughters of Abraham.
